Ask Cornelius

Hi Cornelius, several years ago before I got my PMP, I purchased your PM-Prepcast. I hadn't claimed my PDUs for the Prepcast then.

Now that I've gotten my PMP, am I able to claim the PDU from the Prepcast that I purchased I think 2.5 years ago?

                    by Shawn Wong

Answer:

Hello Shawn, Unfortunately you cannot do that for one simple reason: PDUs (Professional Development Units) can only be claimed for courses that you have taken after you become PMP certified.

    How To Estimate Project Work
Creating Project Documentation for more than a dozen years has taught me one thing: Most meetings suck. But they don't have to. What Makes Project Documentation Suck?

I don't believe there is any one right way to approach and create a Project Documentation. And while there may be several different methodologies, I think ultimately they all take us in the direction of identifying a similar starting point. And while my discussion here certainly will not include every detail one should consider, my goal is to provide you with some ideas and practices to get you on your way.
