 In this free lesson from The PM PrepCast we give you a basic exam checklist. The lesson has four sections not to forget as you get exam ready.

In the "Exam Readiness" section we review four steps you need to go through in order to better understand what the PMP exam is all about. Four is also the number of steps that help ensure that you don't forget to read the most important documents for the exam, discussed in the "Exam Study" section. Is the PMP Certification for Project Managers Only?

No! Your title does not determine if you can take the PMP Exam, your responsibilities do. The PMP Exam application does not ask if your title is or has been “Project Manager”, it only asks what roles you held related to the experience you are claiming on the application. There are several roles to choose from; Project Contributor, Supervisor, Manager, Project Leader, Project Manager, Educator, Consultant, Administrator, and Other.

You are managing a construction project for a client and have subcontracted out some of the project work. You negotiated different contracts with the subcontractors, which include various activities and resources, such as site excavation, raw material supplies, and labor workforce.

B. The Executing phase of the project life cycle
C. The Monitoring and Controlling phase of the project
