"Practice Makes Perfect!"

I'd like to share with you, one of our students PMP exam lessons learned. Here is Joe Nino E. Orapa's PMP exam journey:

""Practice Makes Perfect!"

I posted that quote in my Facebook timeline a few minutes after I passed the PMP exam last 31st March, 2016. Nobody really congratulated me in FB after hours of posting, until my wife posted my Exam Results and commented "Practice Makes Perfect = PMP!" Then, hundreds likes and comments flooded my FB page, from my colleagues, friends, and friends of friends.

Sounds funny, but its meaning is much more deeper for me. Constant practice has been my strategy towards achieving the prestigious PMP certification. Although there may no such thing as 'Perfect' (I even scored 2 Proficient and 3 Moderately Proficient), but it was the untiring efforts, persistent preparation and constant practice that made my journey towards having a PMP perfect. Indeed, passing the exam had made me to really feel 'perfect'. And, I do believe that passing the PMP exam is a matter of constant and persistent PRACTICE..."

PMP Exam Discussion Question
Sarmistha posted this question in the PMP exam discussion forum. Would you like to help her answer her question?

" I would like to know that is there a specific reason that we don't use activity list but WBS to estimate cost?

I know that WBS has related control accounts and gives work package wise information but isn't it better to have further granulated level information using activity list to estimate the cost?"

Student Profile: Madhusudan B. Prativadi, PMP
" I allocated last week of my study to 3 PrepCast simulation tests out of 9. I started taking simulation test in my last month of preparation with a gap of 4 days for each test. This way I took 6 test. With this I was left with last week which is more or less a holiday week with 3 test to attend. In the last 3 days I took 2 PrepCast simulation tests. I took my exam on December 29th 2015 during the second half of the day. As I was practicing the simulation tests for the whole month, the actual exam was like just another test which I managed to pass in my first attempt..."
