How to Successfully Use Social Media and Online Collaboration on Your Projects
Pamela Pavliscak
Cornelius Fichtner is presenting "How to Successfully use Social Media and Online Collaboration on Your Projects" at the PMI Global Congress in Orlando Florida.

Select this as the session you are going to attend on Tuesday, October 13th 2015, at 8:30am as you make your global congress selections. Then simply show up... :-)

This highly interactive presentation examines how social media has affected individuals, organizations and most importantly, projects. You will discover how social media and online collaboration were used on successful projects and the specific lessons learned. You will realize that this is not a passing fad, that it’s the project manager (you!) who must lead the team through the transition and you’ll receive a list of seven action items to apply everything on your own projects tomorrow.

I have a quick question:

I'm going to face a Proof of Concept in the Italian branches that will last 3 weeks.

The question is: Must this PoC be considered a three-week project were I act as a local expeditor?

If this can be considered a project, how can I claim the relative PDUs and what categories those PDUs will be?

Thank you very much.
Manlio

PDU Categories Divisions for PMP Recertification Defined
As a PMP certified project manager you have to earn 60 PDUs every three years for PMP recertification. Each PDU will “cost” you 1 hour of your time.

It may sound daunting to think of spending 60 hours on earning PDUs over the next three years but it’s actually very easy. It’s just 20 hours per year, less than 2 hours a month. Plan on spending those hours learning something that will improve your job performance or by doing something that helps others in your profession. Either way, it’s a rewarding experience that takes very little time if you do it regularly.
